I have heard the argument before that Adam was not gay, so it is unnatural. If god intended homosexuality, he would not have created to sexes. Well, besides the point that there Eves sexuality is neglected in that argument, I fail to see it as valid. I was able to teach the girl who said that to me the mistakes in her argument, and taught her a new logic which allowed her to accept homosexuality as normal.
Since then I have done a little research. Not all the information may be correct, but I think I am able to trust the numbers enough to get my point across:
5-10% of humans are queer. That is, either Homosexual, Bisexual, Transsexual or Intersexual. These people are still seen by a large amount of people nowadays to be "unnatural", or "ungodly". We are taught we will "burn in hell" by some radicalists. The arguments are feeble.
92-95% of humans have dark (brown or black) eyes. That means, that 5-8% of humans have ANY other colour but brown. That percentage is about the same, if not smaller than that or Queer humans.
Is having an eye colour besides brown concidered unnatural? Has anybody ever been condemned for it? (Apart from during the Holocaust, but I'm talking nowadays.) Have parents disowned their children because of their eyecolour? Well, of course not, because Eyecolour is genetic, but that's not the point...
My point is, next time you go out into public think that of 20 people you see, statistically, at least one of them is queer.
What eye colour did Adam have? Brown. Of course. And Jesus was coloured.
Oh, and while I'm on the topic of being a bit unorthodox: If Mary really was still a virgin when she was pregnant with Jesus, then through his birth Jesus took her Virginity. Just saying...
I agree. Also, adding on that 10% of the world is left-handed, too. When have we disowned lefties? Well, except for in the past. But eh. (Straight, brunette, blue-gray eyes, left-handed)
